When so many charlatans pose as big holy Kabbalists, it is easy to understand why some people are wary of Kabbalah. History has had its fair share of imposters — unscrupulous people with no conscience who tricked the masses into becoming a part of their cult and/ or swindled them out of their money.
What is more, there is so much controversy and misinformation about Kabbalah that it is even difficult to broach the subject.
To many the teachings of Kabbalah may sound as if they contradict the Torah or the teachings of the sages, but this is not so.
