Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes's Yahrzeit.

Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes was a renowned Talmudic sage who lived in the 2nd century CE. He was known for his vast knowledge of Jewish law and his ability to perform miracles, which earned him the nickname "Master of Miracles". He was also a student of Rabbi Akiva and is credited with authoring many of the teachings found in the Mishnah. Today, he is revered as one of the greatest sages of the Talmudic period and his teachings continue to inspire and inform Jewish scholarship and practice.

There are several segulot (spiritual remedies) associated with Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes in Jewish tradition, including:

• Reciting a prayer or verse attributed to him in times of distress or need. The most commonly recited verse is "Eloka d'Meir aneni" ("God of Meir, answer me"), which is believed to be a powerful prayer for salvation and protection.
• Giving charity in his merit. Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes is said to be a powerful advocate in heaven for those who support Torah study and help the needy. Giving charity in his merit is believed to bring blessings and protection.
