I hope we all took advantage of the Yartzite of Moshe Rabbenu– 7th of Adar - ‪Monday night‬ and Tuesday, this past week.  The Zohar says that the day of the passing of each Tzadik is special, for prayers and repentance and salvations. Â
Â
PURIM is also a time that we need to take advantage of. Actually the whole month of Adar has a special value for prayers and salvations. In Jewish law, it is brought that Adar is an especially auspicious time for court cases to be won. In particular the day of the fast of Esther, Purim Pruzim and Purim Mukafim. these are days in which we should dedicate much time
to
davening (praying) and Torah studies.
Â
Mordechai the head of the Sanhendrin (at the time) made a major decision by telling the people of Israel to go home and fast with no hesitation. Many don't know that this was the time of Pesach(Passover) when we are obligated in four cups of wine eating Matza and remembering the time when we came out of Egypt. Instead we would we mourning and fasting. The tshuva(repentance)that the people
of Israel made wouldn't have happened if they would have went home and had a Pesach(Passover) meal. This teaches us the lesson of seizing the moment. Just as when Mordechai took advantage of the moment we too must.

It is said that what Haman was able to do with his decree that many prophets were not able to do with there rebuke. Fear is a ver powerful tool it can be used to grow and strengthen in Emunah and Bitachon if used right it can help people do the right thing, for example, those who would
normally drive fast in fear of a speeding ticket will slow down. Same goes spiritually we need to have feer of heaven to do the right thing and if we don't then Hashem sends a "traffic cop" to scare us to do the right thing. Like Haman who was the "traffic cop" of his generation made the Jews of Shushan do complete teshuva, we see that in our generation the coronavirus is doing the same. When we turn to Hashem in Tefilla (prayer) and do complete Teshuva there will no longer be a need for
the virus and it will disappear. we must remember it is only the "traffic cop" who is here to help us get closer to Hashem. (do not let fear drive you insane it must be used constructively. for E-Book on how to handle fear go here)

The Rebbe of Slonim states that we see this in the name of this week’s parashah. The letters that spell out Tetzaveh are the first letters of the words Tzaakat Hadal Takshiv Vetoshia in Nishmat Kol Chai which translates to ‘the outcry of the poor You hear, the screams of the destitute You listen to, and You save’. Hashem wants to give us salvations we just need
to Pray!
