Noach Power of Faith
Hashem tells Noach to Build an arc and within the ac to have one window. (Tzohar) So that when he is in the arc he will have light. Rashi gives 2 explications to what is the Tzohar, one is a window and the other is a precious stone that makes light. We know that in hebrew Teva, תיבה, is not only an arc but is also the word for word. The Baal Shem Tov
explains that according to this principle we learn how to pray and study Torah. That we should apply the principle "צהר תעשה לתיבה" Tzohar Ta-ase Lateva to our prayers and Torah learning by bringing light into the words we say out. Tevah is also the word for Chest (like a treasure chest) each word is a Tevah so it is like a trail of chests that we send to the upper worlds. A present to the King of all kings. think of
what an embarrassment it is if those chests are found to be empty, and what are the treasures that we wish to fill these Tevahs up with and send to the heavens. We are filling these chests with the emotions and feelings of our hearts. When we do this Hashem also adds His infinite light to fill the Tevahs.
The Baal Shem Tov calls this Olamot Neshamot and Elokut, Literally translated to worlds souls and Godliness. The words of the prayers and the Torah are those words. Every world and even every letter is a whole world. When we are bringing our hearts into the prayer this is neshamot, we fill the world with our soul. Lastly the Light of Hashem comes down and to create
the unity and this is called Elokut, Godliness. This is the potential that Hashem gave us for our prayer and Torah learning. Every time we have an opportunity to pray and say out words of Torah we have an opertunity for this whole meditation. Making ourselves to be a Tzadik like Noach that comes into the Tevah surrounded by the letters of the Torah and Tefillah and then Hashem surrounds us with His infinite light.
We invite you to listen to our classes we put on the Youtube channel on Jewish meditations and learn how to practice and apply the Kabbalistic meditations to fill yourself and the world around you with the revealed goodness of Hashem.

The power of a Tzadik
Noach was called a Tzadik in this Parsha. The Zohar writes that a Tzadik is the personification of the Sefira of Yesod. This means that the Tzadik needs to draw sustenance down to the worlds because he is the one who attaches the upper Sefiros to the lower vessels namely the Sefira of Malchus that receives the shefa. This is why he is called a “Tzadik Yesod Olam”- the Tzadik who is the foundation of the world. Because that is exactly what he is. He is the pipeline through where all sustenance
comes into the world. This is regarding all the Tzadikim of all the generations, not only one specific Tzadik.
What a rainbow and the clouds represent
With this, we can also understand the connection to the Bris that Hashem made with Noach when he came out of the ark (See chapter 9). The Sefira of Yesod is also embodied by the Bris Milah. So too Noach, who was the Midah of Yesod, had a bris with Hashem. This was the bris of the Keshes- the rainbow. A rainbow also represents the Sefira of Yesod, and the clouds represent
the Sefira of Malchus. Hence it says (chapter 9 verse 13) “I placed my rainbow in the cloud, it will be a bris”. Together they represent the flow from Yesod to Malchus.
What the Teivah represented
According to this, we can also understand the concept of the Teivah. The Teivah too represented the Sefira of Malchus. Noach who represented Yesod entered inside of it. This attachment and connection of Yesod to Malchus is what creates new life and sustenance. This is how the Shechinah generates her flow from Atzilus down to the lower worlds. She first receives abundance from all the upper Sefiros and Partzufim through Yesod, and then draws it down to the lower worlds. Therefore new life and a
new world emanated from the Teivah. This was represented by the animals that came out of the Teivah.
We all have this power
All the above applies to each individual person too. We are all miniature worlds and have inside of us the hidden Tzadik. This is the Midah of Yesod that attaches and transfers the bounty from above and brings it down to Malchus. Malchus, in turn, creates the desire in a person to pursue Torah, mitzvos and great deeds. We must always keep this in mind.
Especially on Shabbos
Shabbos also has the Midah of Malchus and Bris. Therefore especially on this Shabbos, let us put in extra effort to attach ourselves to a higher level than we are used to. With this, we will gain an extra awareness and desire to do better deeds and improve our thoughts and aspirations. Subsequently, we will receive great physical and spiritual blessings.
